Member Activities and Objectives

What role do you see this Member playing day-to-day in your organization, and what do you hope they'll achieve by the time their service year is complete? Note: This information will be used when describing the service opportunity to prospective Members.

Host site supervisors will need to sign off on all AmeriCorps timesheets, meet at least weekly with their Member(s) to go over work plans, and provide constructive feedback, encouragement, and mentorship. Please share how your organization will ensure that the host site supervisor has the time, capacity, and resources to provide this level of supervision.

Is your organization able to provide a financial contribution to host your Member?

The standard cost for hosting a Member is $35,000/year. Financial scholarships are available for qualifying host organizations, based on population size, organizational budget, and community need, and can reduce the host contribution amount to as low as $10,000/year.

How does your organization intend to support the professional development of your ACC Member? Do you have any available funds or existing opportunities to connect the Member to other key organizations / community groups / events?

Does your organization have funds available to support the implementation of projects that your Member will be responsible for developing?

ACC's host site orientation and training are mandatory, and will take place virtually via Zoom in July 2024. Please confirm that you will plan to attend one of these required host training sessions.
